Hi, I'm Deana (dee-nah) : ) and I'm the owner of Alabaster Nest. My business was born from my love for beautiful things, peaceful neutrals and the joy I get from being creative. I love the symbolism of a nest. It's family, home, safety, and comfort and I want to bring that peaceful calm to you through my art, home decor, apparel and gifts. My love for neutrals runs deep. In my curated shop you'll find all my loves...my original artwork, beautiful vintage objects, vases and planters, marble trays, rustic wood bowls, turkish towels, accessories, jewelry and apparel. I have curated a clothing collection in a classic but modern style I hope you love. 

I've always been a creative person, and studied studio art in college, but did not pursue it more than an occasional hobby until a few years ago. In my original artwork I paint mostly peaceful scenes and landscapes. Clouds and water usually show up in my work and my love for the South Carolina low country is present too. I'm inspired by nature and how it's always changing, always unique and always beautiful.

Alabaster Nest has been in brick and mortar stores for a few years but just recently expanded the boutique online. I live in beautiful Milton, GA with my incredible husband in a soon-to-be empty nest. My 3 amazing kids are living their best lives in college, so my sweet rescue dog Pete is my constant companion while I paint, dream, create and curate.
