Hi, I'm Deana (dee-nah) : ) and I'm the owner of Alabaster Nest. My business was born from my love for beautiful things, peaceful neutrals and the joy I get from being creative. I love the symbolism of a nest. It's family, home, safety, and comfort and I want to bring that peaceful calm to you through my art, home decor, apparel and gifts. My love for neutrals runs deep. I'm a full-time content creator online and love that you love what I love! But in this curated shop you'll find all my loves...my original artwork, beautiful vintage objects, vases and planters, marble trays, rustic wood bowls, turkish towels, accessories, jewelry and apparel. I have curated a clothing collection in a classic but modern style perfect for everyday.

I've always been a creative person, and studied studio art in college, but did not pursue it more than an occasional hobby until a few years ago. In my original artwork I paint mostly peaceful scenes and landscapes. Clouds and water usually show up in my work and my love for the South Carolina low country is present too. I'm inspired by nature and how it's always changing, always unique and always beautiful.

Alabaster Nest has been in brick and mortar stores for a few years but transitioned to a boutique online. I live in beautiful Milton, GA with my incredible husband in our empty nest. My 3 amazing kids in their 20s are living their best lives, so my sweet rescue dog Pete is my constant companion while I paint, dream, create and curate.
